Johnathan Rodriguez (Carolina – Game 2, LF): 1-3 – J-Rod had one of only three Carolina hits in their Game 2 pitchers’ duel victory.

Eric Rodriguez (Carolina – Game 2, C): 0-2, 1 BB,1 K – E-Rod has reached base five times this season – three via walk, two via hit.

Richie Palacios (Mayaguez – Game 2, 2B): 1-3, 2 R, 1 BB): Palacios, the Indios’ leadoff hitter in the nightcap, provided both Mayaguez runs in the day’s second contest.  The first came on an extremely bizarre play in which he rounded all four bases in one fell swoop on a pair of errors by Ponce RF Francisco Del Valle.

Meibrys Viloria (Cartagena, C): 0-3, 1 R< 1 RBI, 1 BB – Viloria both scored and drove in a run in the fifth despite going hitless on Sunday.  The RBI came when he reached on a fielding error.

Dahan Batista (Barranquilla, RP): 1 IP, 1 H – Batista pitched a solid seventh in a no=-pressure situation, with the Caimanes already up by the eventual final score.
