Alexfri Planez (Caracas, CF): 0-2, 1 R, 2 RBI, 3 BB, 1 K – An off day for the Javelinas and a rainout of the game between the two Dominican teams with Guardians prospects on the rosters made for a light night for the Guards org in offseason ball, but the lone Cleveland farmhand to play a full game last night made up for it with a three-walk-effort that included a pair of RBI (sixth-inning force out and a bases-loaded free pass an inning later).  It also brought his early-season slash line to a highly-unusual .000/.444/.000.  If you’re wondering how THAT is achieved, the answer is going 0-for-5 with four walks.

Jaison Chourio (Zulia, backup RF): no plate appearances – You’ll notice I said that Planez was the only Guardian to play a full game last night.  I said that because Chourio played the ninth in right field, increasing his defensive innings played total to three (he played the seventh and eighth, also in right, in Saturday’s 2-1 loss to Caracas, providing the penultimate out on a 4-3 groundout in his only plate appearance of the season so far.
