As we moved on in our best tools series from the Cleveland system in 2021, we hit the best curveball today. This category is mostly the eye test, looking at the best curveballs to get hitters out both now and hopefully in the majors some days, but takes into account things like spin direction, shape, command and feel for the pitch.
The voting/ranking, as we’ve detailed, is one point for third, two for second and three points for the top vote on the lists of our evaluators, Justin Lada, Willie Hood and Joe Coblitz.
