Richie Palacios (CF): 3/5, 3 R, HR, 2 RBI – In another light day for Cleveland prospects, Palacios managed to shine again as the only star. He reached for the first time with a single in the fourth, then advanced twice on a HBP and fly out. He scored on a sac fly. He then hit his third home run of the season in the sixth, scoring Jeter Downs. He singled again in the eighth and scored on a Tristan Casas double. This started up a four run rally that gave the Scorpions the lead. They gave up the tying run in the top of the ninth, but scored a run in the tenth to walk it off.

Tanner Tully (SP): 3.1 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 3 K – Tully started the game with two perfect innings including two strike outs in the second. He gave up a walk and two singles in the third, leading to one run, but using a double play to end the inning without further damage. Two singles lead off the fourth as well, leading to a second run coming home on a sac fly. After two more walks, Tully was pulled from the game.

Brayan Rocchio (SS): 3/4, 3 R, 2B, HR, RBI – In a very similar night to Palacios in Arizona, was safe on a fielder’s choice in his first at bat and later scored. He hit a double in his second at bat, then scored on a homer. He hit his own home run in the fifth, then singled in the seventh and was caught stealing.

The featured photo is from the Saguaros v. Javelinas game I went to yesterday as I was unable to make it to Scottsdale. The Javelinas won 10-5.
