NOTE: All of the Caribbean leagues had scheduled off days on Monday.

Jose Tena (2B): 1-3, 2 BB, 1 K, 1 CS, Picked Off 1 time – Tena has been an on-base machine lately, reaching ten times in fourteen plate appearances over the Scorpions’ last three games (7-for-11 – including a double – with three walks).  This is reflected in his 1.012 OPS, second on the Scottsdale side to only Red Sox mega-prospect Jeter Downs’ 1.274 (that’s not a typo!).  Admittedly, however, it was not his best night once he got on the basepaths.

Richie Palacios (LF): 1-4, 2 R, 1 2B, 1 RBI – While Palacios’ stratospheric early-season numbers were clearly unsustainable, he has maintained a solid statline as the season has worn on.  .292/.414/.563 with eight RBI and three stolen base in twelve games is nothing to sneeze at.

Michael Amditis (DH): 0-4, 1 R, 1 BB – While Amditis has struggled this fall, he has done two things well offensively:  walk and score.  Four of his seven times on base have come via balls (his .194 OBP includes a .100 isolated plate discipline).  Also, he has scored in four of his seven trips to the basepaths.  If he starts hitting, watch out!
