Richard Paz (ACL, C): 1-3, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 HBP – Paz extended his hitting streak to twelve games (out of 13 played this season) with a fourth-inning double. Not surprisingly, he is slashing a spectacular .452/.537/.857 with five home runs and 14 RBI.

Skeiling Rodriguez (ACL, RF): 2-4, 2 RBI – Rodriguez’s multi-hit game was his third on a row and sixth in his last eight. He is slashing .438/.500/.813 in four games this month.

BEST OF THE REST

Jesus Montilla (DSL Blue, PH-backup 2B): 1-1, 1 2B, 2 RBI – Montilla pinch-hit for starting 2B Juan Benjamin in the top of the eighth and gave Indians Blue a short-lived 2-1 lead on the only extra-base hit of the game (for either team).

Christopher Espinola (DSL Blue, CF): 3-4, 1 CS – Espinola is off to a hot start to August, going 5-for-10 in three games. He also had a good night in the field, including an outfield assist on a force out at home.

Lexer Saduy (DSL Blue, LF): 1-3, 1 RBI, 1 K, 1 SF – Saduy drove in RF Erick Caripa, who started the inning at second and advanced to third on a wild pitch, on a tenth-inning sac fly for the eventual winning run.

Robert Lopez (DSL Red, C): 1-2, 1 R – Lopez has a run in each of the three games he has played this month after scoring the only run in the suspended contest so far.

Simon Rodriguez (DSL Red, LF): 2-2, 1 3B, 1 RBI, 1 SB – Rodriguez continued a solid rookie season with his sixth RBI and fifth extra-base hit (three doubles, two triples) in 13+ games this season.
