Columbus Clippers 4, Iowa Cubs 3

After seven innings Thursday, the Columbus Clippers had just four hits as they were deadlocked at two runs with the Iowa Cubs.

Hits began to rain in the eighth inning, though, and it looked as if the Clippers trudged ahead for good behind Owen Miller’s go-ahead, solo home run over the right field wall to give them a 3-2 lead.
