Andruw Monasterio (SS, Caribes de Anzoategui): 0-3, 1 K – Monasterio’s hitless game was his third in his last six games. Hopefully, this isn’t the start of a slump that carries over to the postseason.
Elvis Araujo (SP, Aguilas del Zulia): ND, 4.2 IP, 6 H, 1 R (earned), 2 BB, 3 K – Despite coming up an out short of eligibility for the individual victory, Araujo ends his regular season on a high note with this solid outing.
