DOMINICAN LEAGUE (LIDOM)
Estrellas Orientales 2, Aguilas Cibaenas 1
FORMER INDIANS
Francisco Mejia (C, Estrellas Orientales) – 0-3, 1 SO – The former Indians’ top catching prospect has collected just one hit in his first seven at-bats.
Melky Cabrera (LF-RF, Aguilas Cibaenas) – 0-4, 1 SO – The veteran was shuffled over to left field late in the game after his club decided to make defensive adjustments. Cabrera went hitless for the first time this season.
Robel Garcia (2B, Aguilas Cibaenas) – 0-4, 3 SO – The second baseman is also off to a slow start. Garcia has only tallied one base hit albeit a big one as it was a home run throughout his first three games.
Ronny Rodriguez (3B-LF, Aguilas Cibaenas) – 1-4, 2 SO – Ronny-Rod has managed only two hits over his previous ten at-bats.

Brennan Bernardino (RP, Charros de Jalisco) – 1.0 IP, 1 SV, 0 H, 0 R/ER, 0 BB, 0 SO – The lefty is now two-for-two in save opportunities. It was a much cleaner inning for him than his debut on Tuesday.
