To this point in the season, Matt McBride wasn’t having a great 2010 for the Akron Aeros. But in a 5-0 win over the Bowie Baysox, it was the Matt McBride show.

McBride hit a two run homer in the first inning.

He hit a solo homer in the fourth inning.

McBride finished off the evening with a solo homer in the sixth inning. He drive in four of the five runs on the night. He never got much of a look in pro ball, but McBride has been around longer than a lot of prospects the Indians had when he was here and has made a nice minor league career for himself as a veteran.
